- Van der Meulen congregated ('involuntarily!') in this church until age 18.
- At age 8, Van der Meulen was caught climbing Het Steiger and taken to the police station in a Chevrolet C10 police van, the same model he was taken in in 1983, for climbing the PTT office.

- First belay was fixed 3 meters over the lean-to. Unfortunately, the rope dropped to the ground, and was picked up by policemen. Halfway up, the climbers were thus forced to give up.
- Van der Meulen disappears of the stage in the same police van as the one he was taken in for climbing Het Steiger at age 8: the Chevrolet C10

- Due to the wind, temperatures in the top felt like -15 o C
- As Van der Meulen is in full swing, a policeman orders through the megaphone: "Will you come down immediately!"
- Upon landing Jan's 200 meter long rope ends up in three pieces. In the top a manager cut it off, on the ground an impatient cop cuts it before Jan unties himself

- Completed in a one pitch climb of 100 meters
- For the first time in Dutch buildering history, Van der Meulen was fined by the police. In court however, the judge decided the fine was unnecessary, thereby paving the road to future buildering actions.
